Vision Arizona is a_noemailwork of churches_noemailmitted to helping other biblically conservative churches plant churches/multi-sites in the greater Phoenix metro, and surrounding areas in Arizona. The planter and his staff team (3 FTEs: Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, Worship, Childrens, Youth) raise three years of their own personal support and build a launch team of at least 50_noemailmitted, serving, giving adults, and then we offer non-personnel church startup funding, and extensive personal coaching. We have a church plant success rate of 93% and are the premier church planting movement in Arizona. We are associated with Converge Church Planting, of Converge Worldwide, in the Converge Southwest region. We are looking for entrepreneurial high capacity leaders who demonstrate these essential characteristics: able to effectively articulate their call to plant a church and describe specifically how it has been affirmed; Theology is in alignment with the Converge Worldwide Statement of Faith (convergeworldwide_noemail); Marriage is healthy; Possesses solid Bible training; Possesses strong character and demonstrates_noemailpetency in the critical areas of leadership, specifically: vision casting, team building, teaching/preaching, accountability; high level of chemistry with members of the Vision Arizona LEAD Team (belongs at the table); and has or demonstrates potential to assimilate well into Southwest culture. Additional "A" Planter characteristics include: demonstrates ability, strength and track record to plant a successful church/multi-site with or without Vision Arizona's assistance; expect will lead a greater Phoenix area church of 1000+ within 10 years; has no significant deficiencies in leadership ability; possesses a high level of Woo (as defined in StrengthsFinders); can demonstrate he is a team builder with an established track record of producing something from nothing; thinks strategically and can articulate why things happened (rather than referring to success as "God just showed up"); can specifically identify the individuals he would recruit to his team and demonstrates a willingness to invest in them; has a track record of unusual success – whether in a large or small church; and is teachable and open to constructive feedback.
