Job Description:
Lead a team of paid staff and volunteers in the development of infrastructure to support use of the
arts in all areas of the church and online.
Function as a specialist in the areas of music and creative arts, supporting all areas of ministry within the church.
Plan, design, and produce weekly adult worship services.
Function as primary worship leader for weekly adult worship services.
Recruit, train, equip, and direct musicians, vocalists, technical/creative artists in the production of
weekly worship services and periodic special events.
Provide arts support as needed in the production of all special events and other church activities.
Lead the creative use and proactive upkeep of adult worship facilities.
Function as a member of the pastoral staff performing baptism services, weddings, funerals, etc. as
part of a rotation schedule.
Assist in the development of an annual budget for arts ministries and manage spending to budget.
Lead a team in the development and execution of a_noemailmunications strategy
Accountability: The Pastor of Creative Arts is directly accountable to the Lead Pastor.

Qualifications:
Clear testimony of faith and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Significant skill as a vocalist and instrumentalist
Broad knowledge of Christian worship music across multiple styles and generational tastes
Ability to embrace and implement Westwood's mission and vision
Agree to Westwood's doctrinal statement and staff values
A proven track record in leadership and ability to cultivate strong relationships
Forward-thinker, self-directed, producing results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to develop staff and leaders who are willing to follow Jesus
Demonstrate outstanding relational effectiveness
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Be an effective recruiter, team builder and equipper
A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience as a staff member in a ministry leadership capacity
