POSTION SUMMARY: (Full Time) An individual employed by Lifepath Church to administer the programs, activities and collaborative process in a comprehensive after-school program and to oversee the administrative functions and offer vision and direction to the children and family ministry of Lifepath Church. In addition, this position should facilitate cohesion between the church, its children and family ministries (CFM) and the After School Program (ASP).

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education, children and family ministry, or related field. Experience working with children and families in an educational environment and experience organizing and implementing curriculum required. This individual must possess strong interpersonal skills and prefer they have experience in organizing and managing volunteers and staff. Must be proficient in using Word and Excel. Must be able to write and follow a budget.
Hire, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers for both the ASP and the CFM.
Effectively organize an office
Assume day-to-day responsibility for securing the facility during hours that children are in the care of either program
Supervise maintenance and appropriate cleaning (i.e. toy sanitation, food clean-up)
Supervise food-service programming and implementation (may include securing grants)
Meet regularly with Elder over the program and work closely with the church staff
Engage parents and students, identify and address their needs
Plan curriculum activities and supervise implementation
Develop newsletters and various public relations tools for both CM and ASP- including using web-based communications
Make presentations to community members/agencies
Write progress reports
Develop and track budgets. Complete pertinent and required state and national reports
Write and secure grants, donations, sustainable funding for the program
Ensure compliance with standards, laws and regulations pertinent to after-school programming
REPORTING: This person will report to the Elder of Children and Family Ministry and the Missions Elder, as well as the Pastor of the church.

Assists in planning the after-school program
Develops procedures and policies for operation of the children's ministry programs and the after-school program
Implements applicable district, agency and grant policies and regulations
Establishes and maintains communication with volunteers and staff of both programs with regard to student needs and aspects of the after-school program
Coordinates development and implementation of both programs (CFM & ASP)
Coordinates registration of children in both programs, as well as orientation of both children and parents in both programs
Maintains inventories and records needed for program administration of both programs
Administers assigned budgets
Coordinates pick-up of students, if possible, for the ASP
Facilitates partnerships with appropriate public and private agencies that provide services to students and families
Prepares grants and proposals for supplemental funding
Analyzes data and applies information from periodic program evaluations
Provides oral and written reports, as needed
Participates in professional associations and local and state committees related to children's ministry and/or after-school programs
Perform other duties as assigned
