Create discipleship pathways
*Provide regular opportunities for visitors to become regulars and regulars to become committed disciples and committed disciples to grow in maturity.
*Coordinate family focused events and productions (could include Christmas Pageant;
Easter Family Fun Day; Summer Musical Theater Camp; VBS; Fall Outreach event or others).
*Work with the pastor to design and implement confirmation and new members' classes.
Develop opportunities for intentional discipleship groups and classes
*Discipleship opportunities during worship for children (could include early childhood space, pew boxes, Sunday School, Children's time, or something new).
*Classes and groups for youth.
*Classes and groups for young adults, adults, older adults.
Congregational Care for families with children and youth
*Provide emotional and spiritual support for families with children and youth.
Leadership Development and Management
*Recruit, screen, train, equip and schedule volunteer leaders for children's, adult and youth programs.
*Coordinate safe-gatherings training and background checks and maintain records.
*Collaborate with the Spiritual Development Chair to plan agendas for Spiritual Development meetings and bring best practices and ideas to design, implement, and evaluate discipleship programs and systems.
Work in collaboration with teams and individuals
* Ensure that The Communications team has relevant information about events and
offerings.
*Serve as staff liaison to Spiritual Development Team, attend (or delegate representative) for quarterly Church Council meetings.
*Participate in weekly staff meetings and work collaboratively with other staff.
*With Pastor; and Community Outreach Director; strengthen connections with community building partners especially those who serve children and youth.
*Supervise Youth Ministry Assistant and Wednesday Night Chef.
*Report to Senior Pastor.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and education, with a minimum of $37,500 per year. 140 hours paid vacation, earned sick and safe time, and 80% contribution to health insurance.

Signature ministries include: a growing partnership with the local elementary school, and onsite nature based montessori school; a winter volleyball league; Wednesday night meals; Summer Musical Theater Camp; and community garden that serves 48 refugee families.
