Century Baptist Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Director of Elementary Ministry to lead our Kindergarten-5th grade children's ministry. This role is focused on discipling children, equipping parents, and developing leaders to foster a vibrant, Christ-centered_noemailmunity where children grow in their faith. The Director of Elementary Ministry collaborates with all church ministry staff to advance our mission of growing and making disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.
Key Responsibilities
1. Discipling Children
Encourage and facilitate opportunities for children's spiritual growth through consistent engagement with the gospel and God's Word, including Sunday services, Wednesday programs, camps, service projects, and mission trips.
Build a_noemailmunity where children are discipled in their faith and connected with other disciple-makers.
2. Equipping Parents
Provide resources and input to support parents in the spiritual growth of their families.
Facilitate opportunities for parents to connect with one another and build a supportive_noemailmunity of parents and volunteer ministry leaders to strengthen family discipleship.
3. Developing Leaders
Recruit, train and disciple volunteer ministry leaders to enhance their discipleship skills through regular conversations, supplemental resources, and training materials.
Oversee opportunities for leaders to serve and grow in their roles.
Qualifications
Deep_noemailmitment to Christ and a strong understanding of the Bible to align with the mission and values of Century Baptist Church.
Children's Ministry or Education degree preferred
Experience in children's ministry, leadership development, or a related field preferred.
Strong relationship building skills to connect with children, parents, and volunteer ministry leaders.
Ability to select and oversee curriculum and training materials.
Excellent_noemailmunication and_noemailanizational skills to manage programs, budgets and events.
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000
