Job Description:

The Director of Worship at 2nd Reformed Church is responsible for all areas of worship. This includes working with the Worship Development Team to plan worship, recruiting and developing musicians and vocalists for the worship service, choosing songs and other aspects of worship, and recruiting and training tech people for sound and audio. We are an inter-generational church, and our worship reflects that, with praise teams that are inter-generational, and we sing both hymns and contemporary songs.

We have this position budgeted as part-time, but are willing to develop it into a full-time position for the right candidate.

2nd Reformed Church has been around for almost 150 years. It started as a Dutch immigrant church, but has become much more than that. Qualifications:

A passionate Christian.
Able to play an instrument
Experience in leading worship
Works well with people
Familiarity with tech and audio aspects of worship.
