Church Description:
Tabernacle Bible Church is located in the Northeast area of the city. The Northeast area was historically the part of Wichita where black citizens lived and raised their families. Tabernacle Bible Church is one of approximately 115 black churches in the Wichita_noemailmunity. It is one of the oldest and largest with a strong history of gospel musical excellency.
Overview:
To provide clear_noemailmunication of proper rules and regulations for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program, its specifications, requirements and objectives across all departments of the_noemailanization and the management.
Job Specifics:
* To Provide general oversight and guidance of the grant process.
* Preparation and submission of all grant documents. Assist with File/ Document Management.
* Review and advise on all bids and invoices relevant to the grant process.
* Ensure that all grant project elements are implemented as the relevant specifications outline.
* To ensure that the_noemailanization is_noemailpliant with grant standards and guidelines.
* To advise the_noemailanization on specific matters related to the grant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing and supporting the grants requirement and implementation for the_noemailanization.
* Provide grant oversight to ensure the grant is implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the_noemailanization.
* Consult with the finance team to ensure proper allocation of funds.
* Keep the grant staff informed about u_noemailing deadlines and deliverables, thereby ensuring smooth_noemailpletion of work responsibilities.
* Oversee grant invoicing, accounting, reporting, and other administrative functions to ensure successful execution of grant process.
* Prepare financial or budget plans and allocation along with the planning and finance department in accordance with each project.
* Provide quarterly reports to the funding source and the grant_noemailmitter with respect to the_noemailanization's progress.
* Monitor paperwork and other related documents connected with the grant.
* Assist finance team with guidance and proper maintenance of records and all payments.
* Provide training to the new staff on grants management and reporting requirements.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
* Excellent project management skills with experience in managing and supervising administrative projects.
* Possess excellent_noemailanizational skills.
* Strong_noemailmand over written and verbal_noemailmunication.
* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Good understanding of basic Grant processes.
* Possess good knowledge of planning and strategizing financial and budgeting issues.
* Ability to perform in cross-functional team approach and job responsibilities.
* Experience with basic financial management skills including developing and monitoring budgets and financial reporting.
* A multi-tasker with strong ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to detail.
* Proficient in using_noemailputers with related knowledge of software programs and Inte_noemail.
Educational Requirements:
The minimum educational qualification required for this position is a bachelor s degree.
Required experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project and federal grant management.
