Kids Ministry Associate
Job Description:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will have the responsibility to assist in the operation of all Childcare, Littles and Preschool Ministry related tasks in the Kids Ministry of the Spring Branch Campus, including but not limited to the following:
Assist the Spring Branch Kids Director with Sunday responsibilities
Volunteer coordinator for Littles and Preschool, Duties include: weekly_noemailmunication, coordinating, inputting, and maintaining scheduling within Planning Center, and developing relationships with volunteers
Liaison with Human Resources for volunteer onboarding
Help the Kids Director recruit, train, and manage volunteers
Assist with childcare requests and childcare coordinating
Oversee weekly Littles and Preschool curriculum including writing and reviewing lessons, preparing materials, and preparing propresenter slides
Help troubleshoot Kids Check In
Manage purchases, reimbursements for Littles and Preschool
Assist with classroom preparation and upkeep, involving property staff as necessary, making sure classrooms are safe, stocked with supplies, and provide a we_noemailing environment for children and families
Assist the Kids Director with pastoral care
Assist the Kids Director with Milestone classes and developmental programs
Attend campus staff meetings and ministry meetings as scheduled
Assist the Kids Director in coordinating various events: Bayou City Nights: Summer, Worship Nights, Overflow, Easter, Trunk or Treat, Baby Dedications, Square One, etc...
Other duties as assigned by the Kids Director

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous ministry experience required
Strong verbal and written_noemailmunication skills
Ability to function at a high level in stressful situations
Basic_noemailputer knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets
Other_noemailputer experience a plus: Planning Center, ProPresenter, MAC
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Modified Work week Sunday – Thursday, 40+ hours per week
Some schedule flexibility required for special events
