Job Description:
The Kids Pastor at Faith Bible Church will provide oversight and leadership to the ministries for birth through 6th grades. This person will lead a ministry of roughly 500+ kids as well as a team of staff and volunteers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about ministry with kids and their parents.
Essential Kids Pastor Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
* Provide vision and strategy for the ministry to disciple kids at Faith Bible
* Oversee the Kids Ministry programs including special events and camps
* Hire, develop, and provide leadership and oversight to the Kids Ministry staff
* Provide leadership in the development of yearly ministry plans
* Champion the process for recruiting, training, and implementation of 100+ volunteers in Kids Ministry
* Maintain a strategy for reaching and assimilating new children and families
* Set and provide oversight of Kids' ministry budget
* Ensure that all curriculum is being taught according to Faith Bible Church doctrine
* Develop and maintain safe, clean, and fun environments for the ministry
* Communicate with parents across all areas

* Attend regular staff meetings for discussion, evaluation, and sharing of vision and needs of the ministry
* Meet consistently with the Lead Pastor of Discipleship to discuss ministry strategy and effectiveness
* Be committed to doing ministry as a team
* Be an active participant in church-wide activities

About Faith Bible Church:
Faith Bible has been faithfully taking grace to our world for over 40 years. The church was planted by Conroe Bible Church in 1979 when The Woodlands was still young. Around 8 families began meeting in a ballet studio on the east side of Interstate 45. By the grace of God, our family saw incredible growth and missional impact from the first day. To gather as a much larger family we moved and ultimately landed on the current property we enjoy today. We as a biblical church is a family of people connected by common faith, so beliefs are really important. Job Qualifications:
* Spiritual: Must have a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for ministry. Must hold to the Beliefs, Mission Statement, and Core Values of Faith Bible Church. Our staff are expected to set a godly example for church members and the community by way of their personal conduct and lifestyle.
* Experience and Education: A college degree in a related field and a minimum of four years of experience in a kids' ministry of 200+. Seminary or extensive biblical training is a plus.
* Knowledge and Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Excellent leadership skills. Must be a learner, self-starter, confident and flexible. Must be able to work well with technology and media.
