- Beaverdam Baptist Church (BBC) is a Christ-centered, independent, elder-led church located in Beaverdam, VA, which is a rural community approximately 40 miles north of Richmond. Starting as a bible study in 1997, the Lord has grown BBC into a multi-generational congregation of approximately 240 active members, with approximately 220 people in attendance at the weekly worship service. Following the retirement of our lead pastor after faithfully serving for 22 years, BBC is seeking a full-time lead pastor to shepherd our church and serve on the elder council to oversee the administration and management of the people and resources the Lord has called and provided to grow His kingdom, locally and abroad.
- In addition to Sunday School and the Sunday morning worship service, BBC provides several opportunities for people to connect, grow, serve, and lead, including ministries for students, young adults, women, and men.
- BBC sits on 55 acres and hosts several God-honoring organizations that support the church body and local community by providing children grades K-4 an option for Christian education through the Beaverdam Christian Academy, providing low-cost clothing and household items through the Great and Mighty Things thrift store, and providing food for those in need through a food pantry.

Responsibilities
- Spiritual Leadership and Pastoral Care of the Church
- Congregational Teaching and Pulpit Delivery
- Ensuring Vision, Strategy, and Policy are God-centered
- Serving as an Elder in equal standing with the other Elders, and submitting to the collective authority of the Elder Council
- Providing first line supervision to the paid non-pastoral staff

Job Qualifications:
- an ordained minister in good standing who has experienced a genuine call to the Gospel ministry, and who can be characterized by the descriptions in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
- a mature Christian who has demonstrated wisdom and sound judgment in family life, relationships, finances, business, and ministry
- a servant leader who has demonstrated leadership skills via past ministry, business, or other experiences
- a gifted disciple of Jesus who has demonstrated the ability for bible-centered preaching and teaching
- a committed believer who will remain true to the Scriptures, and uphold the BBC Constitution and Bylaws, and Baptist Faith and Message 2000
- a godly man who is able to successfully pass a criminal misconduct background check
- a mature Christian who has demonstrated wisdom and sound judgment in family life, relationships, finances, business, and ministry
- a servant leader who has demonstrated leadership skills via past ministry, business, or other experiences
