Role Description:
RVC desires a loving, Holy Spirit led pastor with a passion to serve our church and culturally-diverse_noemailmunity through Christ-centered, humble, and Biblically sound preaching of the Bible.
The Lead Pastor is responsible for the ensuring the church's mission, motive, and core values align with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our ideal candidate will be a transparent servant leader with proven experience in discipleship, counseling, and mentoring in their church and_noemailmunity. Additionally, ministry/pastoral experience in an urban church setting is valuable for this role. This individual will serve alongside our board to set, drive, and implement the strategic vision for Rainier Valley Church.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS: The Lead Pastor for Rainier Valley Church should qualify for the Biblical office of Elder outlined according to Scripture (Titus 1, 1 Timothy 3, etc.). Additionally they should display the following attributes:
A solid track record of loving, Christ-centered leadership
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Consistently demonstrated discernment, and ability to listen with sober-minded wisdom
Working knowledge of budgeting and financial practices in a non-profit organization
Demonstrated discretion, discernment and good stewardship when utilizing church funds
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-stress environment, while remaining pastoral in temperament
