POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Discovery is looking for a dynamic, innovative person to create, direct, and implement marketing strategies. The Marketing Director will be_noemailfortable with the following: Goal setting, strategic planning,_noemailmunication, creative leadership, and volunteer coordination. This position will work to implement ministry plans, directions and objectives as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create high quality graphic material used for but not limited to bulletins, social media, website, announcements, small groups, newsletters, sermon slides, etc.
Develop and create material to be used to support ministry lessons and initiatives.
Design and maintain the weekly newsletter.
Attend staff meetings.
Set creative goals to be achieved each year.
Conduct marketing meetings.
Attend the weekly prayer service.
Create_noemailmunity engagement through social media.
Create, schedule and monitor social media posts.
Design promotional material for different ministries and events.
Produce and maintain website with current material.
Lead and develop different "Creative teams" of volunteers that are involved in photography, video-graphy. etc.
Continue to learn better ways of developing material through classes and conferences.
Manage the overall imagery presented by Discovery Church.
Assist with printing, graphics, advertising, and public relations materials and programs when needed.
Assist in the creation of video's and/or other creative elements for Sunday morning.
A passion for and_noemailmitment to the leadership of Jesus and application of the Scripture.
A demonstrable prayer life that seeks God's wisdom and direction in all decision making.
Perform other duties as assigned.
