Next-Gen Pastor Job Description
CCB (Christian Church of Broomfield) is a vibrant, non-denominational mid-size church in beautiful Broomfield, Colorado. We are a well-established church with an incredible church family that shares a desire to impact our_noemailmunity.
We are seeking a Next Gen Pastor to lead and guide CCB's Youth Ministry (MS/HS) and oversee - the Children's Ministry. The Next Gen Pastor will help students understand their identity in Christ, encourage them in pursuing their relationship with their Savior, and live out their faith as disciples of Christ. You will be a source of support as students navigate the present culture. You will also_noemaile alongside the parents to encourage and support them in their role as the primary source of discipleship for their student.
We view success in this role as follows:
Vibrant children and youth programs where children are excited to_noemaile to church, and are eager to invite others.
Children / Youth know and follow Jesus
An environment that produces trust, which will lead to openness about their struggles, pressures, and questions while providing training and the encouragement needed to make faith based decisions.
Identifying, recruiting, vetting, training, and encouraging volunteers to help develop and execute the children's programs.
Next-Gen Pastor Responsibilities:
Attend and participate in staff meetings.
Establish the vision and objectives for the Next Generation Ministry in line with those of the church.
Oversee, grow, and coordinate the church's student ministry.
Oversee the church's children's ministry.
Recruit and train volunteers.
Provide age-appropriate curriculum for all programs and classes.
Lead middle and high school students to encourage their spiritual growth.
Develop positive relationships with students and their parents.
Share programs via social media.
Display a Christ-like approach and lifestyle.
Incorporate youth into various church ministries and service opportunities.
Grow students who are interested in the knowledge of God and His Word.
Next-Gen Pastor Requirements:
Evident relationship with Jesus Christ.
Previous youth ministry experience is an advantage.
Proficient understanding the challenges and needs of young people.
Leadership Skills
Excellent_noemailputer skills, and social media.
Outstanding verbal and written skills.
Excellent_noemailanizational skills.
Affinity for young people.
Ability to lead by example.
Available to work extended hours, evenings, over weekends and holidays.
Ideal candidates should have a proficient understanding of the challenges young people face and how to bring faith principles into these realities.
