Will serve as the primary spiritual leader of the church, responsible for the preaching of the Word, the administration of the sacraments, and the pastoral care of the congregation. He will be a man called by God, gifted in teaching and leadership, and committed to upholding the distinctives of Reformed theology as expressed in the Savoy Declaration. He should also be committed to our distinctives regarding paedo-communion and paedo-baptism. Key Responsibilities:
Preaching and Teaching: *Faithfully preach the whole counsel of God's Word expositionally. *Regularly teach and disciple the congregation in Reformed theology and practice. *Lead weekly Bible studies and other educational opportunities. Worship Leadership: *Lead reverent and God-honoring worship services in accordance with Reformed principles, emphasizing the regulative principle of worship/covenant renewal. *Administer the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper regularly and
faithfully. Pastoral Care: *Provide compassionate pastoral care to all members, including visitation of the
sick and shut-ins, counseling, and prayer. *Equip and encourage members in their spiritual growth and service. *Be available to the congregation for guidance and support.tion: *Work collaboratively with the church leadership to develop, plan, and execute
ministries that align with the church's mission and Reformed convictions. *Oversee and participate in the various ministries of the church. *Maintain regular accessibility to the congregation. Evangelism and Outreach: *Encourage and equip the congregation for personal evangelism. *Identify and pursue opportunities for outreach within the Mount Vernon area.Application Process: Interested and qualified candidates are invited to submit the
