Pastor Job - Arnot Community Church, Arnot, Pennsylvania

Arnot Community Church is an independent and non-denominational_noemailanization nestled in the hills of southern Tioga County, PA, which is home to approximately 40,000 people. Arnot is approximately 35 miles north of Williamsport (home of the Little League World Series) and 14 miles from the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon.

We are seeking a dedicated and_noemailpassionate Pastor to lead our congregation in spiritual growth. The ideal candidate will provide spiritual guidance, support, and leadership to our church members.

Job Title: Lead Pastor

Key Responsibilities:

Spiritual Leadership/Guidance: preaching, teaching, interpreting scripture in a God led way

Provide pastoral care and counseling to individuals and families.

Conduct ceremonies and support during events such as weddings, baptisms, and funerals.

Engage in_noemailmunity outreach and foster relationships with local_noemailanizations.

Oversee church administration, including budgeting and staff management, with oversight from the board of elders.

Ensure and oversee the function of church facilities

Qualifications:

Ordained minister

4yr Seminary degree as well as bachelor's from an accredited college

Strong understanding of religious texts and ability to interpret and teach them.

Excellent_noemailmunication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate and empathetic nature.

Experience in pastoral care and counseling.

Ability to lead and inspire a growing congregation.

Wages:

This is a full-time position. Commensurate with experience and starting salary of $42,000/yr. Retirement plan available with 0% matching currently. $3,000-$10,000 annual contribution to medical insurance premiums, based on individual/family needs.

Our Board of Elders oversees governance and accountability while corporate officers manage legal, financial, and administrative operations. Our Core Support Team coordinates church programs and ministries. Ministries we are currently involved in include, worship, weekly home bible study, kids church, annual Christmas tree giveaways, as well as raising funds for local and international charities.
