Pastor Job - First Baptist Church Kittanning, Kittanning, Pennsylvania

The new pastor should value the importance of the Sunday sermon and preaching. Biblically based sermons and Bible studies should focus on the Gospel and connect it with the world today. The pastor would share the worship service with the laity and membership. The pastor would also work with the deacons and other groups to provide visitation for sick and shut-ins as well as other members of the congregation.

The pastor should be the spiritual leader of the church preaching on the Gospel and expounding the scriptures, conducting regular worship services, administering the ordinances of Communion and Baptism, leading mid-week Bible Studies, providing limited counseling as needed, and representing our denomination in the local ministerium.
