WE ARE SEEKING AN INDIVIDUAL WITH AT LEAST A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND EXPERIENCE IN CHURCH LEADERSHIP, AS WELL AS A WILLINGNESS TO RECEIVE RELIGIOUS TRAINING: BIBLE, SPIRITUAL AND THEOLOGICAL EMPHASIS. WE ARE WILLING TO CONSIDER A BI-VOCATIONAL OR CO-VOCATIONAL ARRANGEMENT (i.e. part time hours)

HOURS AND WAGES WILL BE NEGOTIATED

APPLICANTS ARE EXPECTED TO:

1. Review and agree to the Mission Statement, Vision and Values of Rocky Hock Methodist Church (found at www.rockyhockmethodistchurch.org)

2. Exhibit a disciplined spiritual life, maintain healthy boundaries and be accountable to the church for work and actions.

3. Demonstrate behavior that is in alignment with Christian beliefs, practices and a healthy relationship with God.

4. Understand and celebrate the power of Jesus Christ and provide BIBLE based sermons

5. Exhibit good communication/people skills to include capturing the attention of the congregation as well as ability to listen in a way that leads to healthy resolutions.

6. Recognize prayer as a necessary communication with God.

7. Have an interest in the future of the church, believing in its growth, especially in the areas of young adults and children, as well as support church ministries and community involvement.

8. Provide Pastoral Care to church members when needed.

10. Provide a link to a sermon(s) that you have delivered or attach in written form.
