Job Description:
All Saints Anglican Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, is searching for a
Praise Band Leader. This is a paid, half-time position that involves working
with traditional musicians in our present blended service and who will be
able to take musical charge of a Contemporary Eucharist if and when we go to
two services.
We are looking for a person who affirms our three stream vision of Church:
Biblical- We hold the bible to be God-breathed and the final and ultimate
authority for life and doctrine (we are classic Evangelicals- so no
'prosperity' doctrine, and no liberal theology).
Sacramental- The Sacraments_noemailmanded by Christ: Baptism and Holy Communion
for the pattern of Christian worship (Holy Communion every Sunday).
Spirit-Filled- We affirm the present working of the Holy Spirit and the
biblical gifts of the Spirit (our worship is often described as being filled
with God's presence).
The person we hire for this position must have these main attributes: he or
she must be a worshiper who deeply loves the Lord Jesus, a worship leader
who can point God's people to the Throne of Grace, a musician/singer of
obvious musical excellence, a leader who can build a team of musicians and
someone who possesses Christian character.
