The congregation of Brewster Community Church is accepting resumes for the Senior Pastoral position. This Missions minded church is located in an agricultural community in Northwest Kansas. The congregation consists of about 50 parishioners along with those that watch regularly via Facebook and YouTube.
The applicant's theology must be Biblically grounded, Christ focused, faith driven, grace saturated and God dominated.
Pastor must meet the criteria from
1 Timothy 3:1-7
Be able to Shepherd the flock – Acts 20:28; 1 Peter 5:1-3
Lead through example – 1 Peter 5:3
Teach and exhort – 1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:9
Refute those who contradict Truth – Acts 20:29-31; Titus 1:9
Manage the Church of God – 1 Timothy 3:5; 5:7
Visit and pray for the sick – James 5:14-16
Give testimony of his call to the pastoral ministry.
Pastor responsibilities will include
Preach Sunday Morning Service
Perform Weddings, Funerals, Visit the Sick
Teach Bible Studies
Oversee Various Church Functions
Wednesday night youth program
Sunday school
Missions
Bible studies
He must have a heart to disciple & grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.
