Job Description - Senior Pastor
Calvary Lutheran Church a charismatic Lutheran church associated with the Alliance of Renewal Churches (ARC). We support the ARC Statement of Faith; we honor the best of our Lutheran faith; we believe in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit; we support the Lord's Prayer; the creeds of the Christian faith; and we observe_noemailmunion twice each month.
We ask that you:
Preach and teach the Word of God as revealed in the Old and New Testaments.
Administer Dedications, Baptism, and Holy Communion in accordance to the practice of the Alliance of Renewal Churches.
Assist us in the teaching ministry of our congregation so that together we may be strengthened in our faith and love for our Lord and Savior.
Lead, inspire, and equip us to minister to all the members of the church according to our needs and visit us as necessary.
Lead, inspire, and equip us in fulfilling our responsibility to fulfill our ministry.
Lead, inspire, and train us in reaching out to our_noemailmunity who are not actively a part of a Christian congregation.
Give pastoral leadership for the meetings and activities of the congregation, boards, and _noemailanizations.
Keep your ministry in harmony with the Word of God.
Strive in word and deed to be a worthy example in living the Christ-like life.
