Senior Pastor Job - First Baptist Church of Branford, Branford, Connecticut

Responsibilities include:
Lead and preach at worship services including Sunday morning, and special services.
Teach weekly Bible Study.
Assist in training teachers and leaders for the various ministries of the church.
Provide spiritual counseling and share the Gospel with new people, preparing them for baptism and church membership.
Advise and direct people to available professional counseling in times of crises.
Prepare couples for marriage and officiate weddings.
Counsel grieving families and conduct funeral services.
Guide the spiritual life of the church, visit the hospitalized and homebound, and serve_noemailmunion, all with the support of the deacons.
Administer and supervise the church office and all staff.
Attend, as ex-officio member, all board and_noemailmittee meetings.
Represent the church in the_noemailmunity, state, and national affiliations.
Help develop programs enabling the church to reach out to the_noemailmunity to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Assist with audio-visual recordings of Sunday worship.
