Peace Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking to fill the Pastor's position to lead our growing Urban predominantly African American congregation of approximately 200-250 members. Peace Baptist Church is in the_noemailmunity of Avondale, approximately 15 minutes north of downtown Cincinnati.
Position Title: Pastor, Full-time Salaried
The Pastor for Peace Baptist Church will be a man who is called, ordained and set apart by God to the gospel ministry, biblically grounded and evangelical in theology, can affirm and support the Elder Ministry and is_noemailmitted to living and serving in a manner consistent with the standards outlined in Scripture for Pastors and Elders.
The Pastor for Peace Baptist church will be one who spreads a passion for the truth of God's word and the love of God's people by providing pastoral leadership for the elders, congregation, and staff. The Pastor will be one who is devoted to daily prayer and Bible reading for the sake of guarding themselves against sin and stirring up their heart and mind to renewed passion for Christ.

Qualifications:
*The Pastor will be one who is devoted to daily prayer and Bible reading for the sake of guarding themselves against sin and stirring up their heart and mind to renewed passion for Christ.
*The Pastor must meet the spiritual, personal, and character qualifications of an elder found in 1 Timothy 3:1–7, Titus 1:6–9 and 1 Peter 5:1-4 and exhibit the fruit of the Spirit as found in Galatians 5:22,23.
*The Pastor will have a BS or BA college degree and preferably some seminary experience, three years of experience as a Pastor or five years active ministerial experience (which includes preaching, baptism, weddings, sick visits, funerals, etc.)
*The Pastor will work with Leadership to ensure our relevance to the community, the accomplishment of our mission and vision, accountability to our multi-generational membership, and the honor of the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
*The Pastor must have the skillset and ability to manage various administrative tasks associated with the position effectively.
*The Pastor must be willing to undergo a background check and a credit check.
