The ideal candidate will be a mature Christian who loves Jesus, is led by the Holy Spirit, operating within their spiritual gifts, with previous pastoral experience, as well as leadership in transition settings. The candidate should be an effective communicator, a proven leader, and able to relate effectively in a diverse community setting. Additionally, they bring a mindset of discipleship multiplication and connection outside the walls of the church to everything they do. Responsibilities include pastoral care, strategic leadership, preaching and teaching, leadership development and ministry equipping, administration, and missional engagement. Highly qualified candidates will receive a follow-up email with 12-15 short essay questions describing how they'd respond to important leadership scenarios based on their previous ministry experience. This will be followed by an interview (virtual or in-person) with members of our Board and the Pastoral Selection Advisory Team. A second interview may be requested.
