The position prefers a Divinity degree from a seminary accredited by the association of Theological Schools, and experience as a Pastor of a church. The Pastor should exemplify personal spiritual growth and integrity.

The Pastor is responsible for conducting a morning worship service on Sundays, coordinating special services at such times as Lent and Christmas Eve, and taking the primary responsibility for preaching.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Teaching occasional Bible Studies.
Attending monthly Administrative Council meetings and other ministry meetings as appropriate.
Pastoral Care and Discipleship, including individual counseling, visiting shut-ins and hospitalized members, and conducting memorial services.
Being visible in the area through involvement in community activities.

The minister must demonstrate both a theological understanding of the Bible and the leadership necessary to be a "Shepherd" of the congregation.

The skill set of the Pastor should include:
- preaching biblically-sound sermons that encourage a growing relationship with and service to the Lord.
- a leadership and supervisory style that builds teamwork.
- the ability to encourage inter-generational interaction among church members.
- effective planning and organization skills.
- and an open and engaging personality that stems from a genuine interest in others and the desire to be God's person in every situation.

The compensation starts at $60,000 and is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. We do not offer medical insurance or a retirement plan.
