Seeking Full-Time or Bi-Vocational Pastor
Pittsburg Free Will Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time or bi-vocational pastor who is called and gifted to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ideal candidate will provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the congregation through faithful preaching, teaching, pastoral care and by living as a Christ-like example in all areas of ministry.

We are looking for a pastor with a heart for community outreach and discipleship, who will actively support and participate in:
Visionary leadership – seeking and communicating a vision that encourages congregation to participation and action for the Kingdom
Youth Ministry – encouraging and guiding the next generation in faith
Men's and Women's Bible Studies – fostering spiritual growth and fellowship
Elderly Visitation – caring for and encouraging our senior members

About Pittsburg Free Will Baptist Church
Located in the Southern Illinois community of Pittsburg, IL, in Williamson County. PFWBC is a member of the Illinois Free Will Baptist Association, with an average of 350 in weekly worship attendance on Sunday mornings. We are a multigenerational church with a strong foundation of faithful senior members, along with a significant number of young families that allow PFWBC to have a thriving youth program (children up to high school). Our services are supported by a worship team that leads the congregation in praise each week during our Sunday morning and evening services. PFWBC services also include Sunday school and Wednesday night bible study/children's program.

Qualifications
1. A deep commitment to Christ and a strong understanding of Scripture.
2. Proven experience in pastoral ministry, leadership, and management.
3. Strong preaching and teaching abilities, with a passion for developing others spiritual gifts.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of community outreach and engagement.

Compensation:
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and full-time/bi-vocational status.
