Job Description:
POSITION
The Lead Pastor for Christ Life Community will provide primary leadership in pastoring /shepherding, preaching /teaching, staff oversight, and partnerships with other mission ministry partners; he will be a man of character and integrity, and have a passionate, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Expectations / Primary Responsibilities
He will work to ensure the strategic and successful implementation of Christ Life Community Church's vision and mission by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church and staff.
The Lead Pastor will serve on the Leadership Team and to this team will be accountable
Will be a servant leader, who is teachable, humble, and highly relational.
Will provide a sense of excitement and encouragement to Christ Life Community.
Responsible for developing vision and systems that will guide the growth, healthy unity, and multiplication of future elders, including discipleship/leadership plans, development, coaching, and preparation to lead.
He will continue and increase_noemailmunity involvement as defined by church's vision and mission.
Shepherd staff and elders by working alongside them in personal discipleship, individual mentorship, goal setting and vision casting.
He will focus much of his weekly time on preaching and teaching.
Consistently develop and plan u_noemailing preaching / teaching series through expository preaching.
Lead and attend elder/ministry/staff meetings and annual retreats on a regular basis.
Recruit, train, and lead staff, ministry leaders, and elders.
Counsel as needed.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree, not necessarily in a related field. A graduate degree from an accredited, conservative evangelical seminary is highly preferred. He will have at least five to ten years in a role that has afforded him senior level leadership experience and increasing leadership responsibilities.
Qualifications
Fulfills the character qualifications and duties of an elder as taught in the Scriptures.
Has had senior leadership experience (a requirement).
Possesses strong gifts of leading, teaching, administration, organization, and time management.
Has the ability and desire to preach and teach.
Is philosophically and theologically aligned with Christ Life Community Church.
Believes in leadership development and the ability to institute discipleship to carry out the great commission.
