LBC Background:
The congregation started with the assembling of approximately five families in 1984 that wanted a church where the emphasis would be on the teaching of the Bible. The church originally met in the Groveport Town Hall and then in the Obetz Senior Center until acquiring an actual "church building" in Reynoldsburg, Ohio in 1989. As the congregation grew, property was purchased in Pickerington, Ohio and the congregation moved to the current location when the church building construction was completed in 2002.
LBC is and shall ever be committed, not simply in principle, but in practice, to emphasizing from its pulpit the expository, verse-by-verse, teaching and preaching of the entire Bible. This commitment does not preclude textual, topical, or categorical teachings. There are traditionally three, one-hour services per week – Sunday 9:30am, Sunday 11:00am, and Wednesday 7:00pm
