The Student Pastor is a full-time opportunity, responsible for the ministry and discipleship of students from Middle School through High School. This role also carries the responsibility to reach out to the unchurched youth in the_noemailmunity, engage them with the gospel and involve them with the work of the church. This role is also vital to the recruitment of volunteers to serve inside the Student Ministry, especially in leading small groups. The Student Pastor will be responsible for developing relationships with students, their parents, and adult leaders. This role will also be charged with structuring the overall ministry. The Student Ministries Pastor is to be an advocate for youth and educate the congregation about the hopes, concerns, and needs of youth in the local church and_noemailmunity. We want this position to have the freedom to adapt the ministry to fit the gifts of the Pastor and allow for growth in all areas related to pastoral ministry.
Student Ministry: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of CRC Student Ministries. Conduct weekly Student ministry on Sundays and Wednesdays. To include worship, teaching, Life Groups, creative and fun activities. Plan and implement a monthly connection event. Encourage full participation in the life of Crossroads Church. Create and manage an annual budget in consultation with the Board and or Finance Committee. Build, train, and resource Student Ministry team. Adult and student leaders. Develop and implement a stay-connected plan with students, leaders and parents. Plan an annual Mexico Mission trip. Plan and implement an annual Parent's Gathering for information sharing including u_noemailing events, estimated costs for all events, and to create parent partnerships. Plan and implement an annual winter camp. Develop and maintain Crossroads Student Ministries' social media presence.
General: Assist the Pastoral team in all ministry-related duties. Pastoral Care, weekend ministry, Circle of Care, follow-up, Growth Track, teaching/preaching, Life Groups (leading or participating), seasonal services, and events. Other duties are assigned as needed.
