This role will also partner with the Middle School Pastor in creating an ongoing ministry plan for all Cibolo Students. The synergy with the Middle School Pastor will excel momentum of the Student Ministry by reaching new students in the surrounding communities and give all Cibolo Students an intentional discipleship path in their walk with Christ.
To Executive Leadership
- Assist in implementing and realizing the vision and mission of Cibolo Creek.
- Report to the Executive Pastor.
- Develop and steward an annual budget for the High School Ministry.
- Develop and maintain an annual plan with quarterly goals to improve and grow High School ministry.
- Identify and effectively communicate needs of the next generation.
- Fulfill all other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Team.
To the High School Leadership Team & Parents
- Pray for them regularly.
- Cast vision clearly and effectively to parents and leaders about the "why" and "how" of our High School Ministry.
- Build a leadership pipeline that results in committed volunteers who love Jesus and love students.
To the High School Students
- Attract and invite High School students into our church community from our church body and surrounding high schools.
- Attend student functions and be a presence within the community.
- Grow students through Life Group participation.
- Identify and develop a Student Leadership Team.
- Plan key events around milestones in the life of a student.
- Improve the quality of our student ministry services, evidenced partly by increased attendance and participation.
Our Mission at Cibolo Creek is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus. Our Vision is to be a family of authentic Christ-followers working together to do whatever it takes to introduce people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus and His Church. We are currently around 700 participants, with about 75 middle & high school students.
