Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee technical operations for church services, including main stage worship, as well as student and children's services
Manage technical operations for any events at Metro facilities that carry A/V requirements (weddings, funerals, meetings, etc)
Ensure the delivery of professional quality audio, lighting, video, media and live streaming for services and events
Recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers to serve in technical roles during the worship services and other events
Assign staff and volunteers to needed roles for weekend services and special events
Provide technical training to volunteers, staff and ministry partners, to ensure the delivery of quality technical services
Design, deploy and maintain a cloud-based inventory management system for Metro technical equipment
Ensure that required supplies (batteries, cabling, etc.) are obtained and available prior to being needed
Conduct equipment maintenance at regular intervals,_noemailpleting viable repairs when needed
Forecast the need for new A/V/L equipment and coordinate the purchasing process with appropriate staff
Maintain consistent_noemailmunication with leadership and volunteers, and perform required administrative tasks on time

Essential Requirements:
Understand and agree with Church's belief statement
Completed College Degree (ideally in a related discipline)
Previous paid experience working in a church in an A/V role (preferably as a leader of others)
Strong leadership ability, including effective interpersonal skills (To be confirmed by references)
Demonstrable expertise operating modern audio, video, and lighting equipment
Comfort handling multiple overlapping tasks and delivering results under the pressure of time constraints
Ability to move and lift up to 70 pounds, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment
The skill to design and shape adaptable, repeatable systems and procedures
Willingness to manage ambiguity and to help drive toward consensus with positivity
Proficient verbal and written_noemailmunication skills
Additional Position Details
This is a full time position: The director may not engage in simultaneous outside employment or contract work
Annual salary for this position is in the mid $40s
Local candidates only: Relocation assistance not provided
Though subject to change, the starting days off are Mondays and Fridays.
The initial required work days and hours are as follows:
o Sundays, 7 AM until 2 PM
o Tuesdays, 9 AM until 5 PM
o Wednesdays, Noon until 8 PM
o Thursday, 2 PM until 10 PM
