Worship Director/Pastor Full-Time: 32hrs
Education:
Bachelors in music or worship arts welcome
Responsibilities:
* Attend All-Staff and Senior Staff meetings.
* Meet to map out church year with Senior Pastor and other Pastoral Staff.
* Oversee and coordinate, using Planning Center, all worship team members: singers,
musicians, and media/tech team, to ensure all spots are filled on Sundays.
* Leading a team of diverse singers, guitarists, strings, youth musicians, professional Cellist and
tech crew who together, seek to glorify the Lord.
* Coordinate rehearsals mid-week and Sundays.
* Recruit, train, and mentor team members in music, leading, and spiritual health.
* Design worship sets and visual media aids in all worship services and special programs.
* Give space to the presence of God and the Spirit during the services.
* Develop and maintain own relationship with Jesus to live above reproach.
* Be a musician, singer, and communicator for large and small groups.
* Provide pastoral, visionary, and directional leadership for worship gatherings.
* Lead weekly rehearsals for weekly worship gatherings.
* Lead, oversee, and have regular meetings with the Worship Team staff.
* Meet with the Senior Pastor and Associate Pastor weekly to plan gatherings.
* Collaborate with ministries about their worship gatherings (students, kids, adults, etc.).
The Worship Pastor needs to:
* Develop and maintain own relationship with Jesus to live above reproach.
* Lead, oversee, and have regular meetings with the Worship Team staff.
* Attend All-Staff and Senior Staff meetings.
* Collaborate with staff about their worship gatherings (students, kids, adults, etc.).
* Create annual budget for the worship ministry with Senior Staff.
* Be accessible, approachable, and lead with a relational heart.
* Be proficient in Planning Center, Apple devices, and sound, lighting, and live streaming
systems.
Communication:
* Participate in staff meetings, providing up-to-date information about responsibilities.
* Report to the Senior Pastor concerning future plans and areas of growth.
* Come alongside other staff members to ensure that we are a church that works together to
accomplish the work God has prepared in advance for us to do.
