Job Description:
Oversee worship and music ministries of the church including both on-line and in-person services.  The worship leader will partner with the executive pastor in his vision for developing individuals as disciples of Christ through the music/worship medium.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Oversee all aspects of worship for three services including in-person and streaming services, stage lighting, sound, media, platform appearance, etc.
* Lead worship from either piano or guitar.  Technical knowledge of audio mixing through sound board and DAW.
* Maintain worship service schedules for praise teams, hymns, special music, etc.
* Participate in creative planning for services with pastoral staff.
* Select and plan all music for Sunday and special services to ensure inspiring music for the congregation by utilizing both contemporary and traditional styles.
* Evening commitments as needed for rehearsals, performances, and meetings related to music ministry.
* Intentionally develop and build relationships with participants at GraceWay especially those interested in music and technical areas.
* Be involved in evangelism and membership care, especially in one's area of ministry.
* Communicate faithfully with the executive pastor (by text and/or email, including weekly reports showing hours of work, activities, plans, accomplishments, etc.) and staff.
* Participate in the life, services, and ministries of the church.
* Provide opportunities for musicians to meaningfully minister to congregation by encouraging them to present their talents for worship. 
* Prepare and manage plans and budgets for areas of responsibility.
* Oversee maintenance of all instruments.
* Intentionally develop and build relationships within the community to foster Gospel sharing opportunities.
* At times, ministry personnel serve above the call of duty, or job description.  Also, holidays are a special time of worship and all staff are expected to be available.
* Other duties as assigned by the executive pastor or designee.
