The role of the worship leader is to encourage believers to pursue an encounter with God through music. The worship leader will plan all services by choosing music, media and implement other creative elements to help grow congregation in their worship experience. This leader will identify, develop, and utilize musical gifts in the congregation. He will lead praise teams and band members, and create a team approach in the ministry. He will oversee and work with audio visual team and prepare schedules for the service times. The worship leader will include our youth and children from time to time in the services. He will also be available for all special church events as well as funerals, weddings,and holidays when needed. He will coordinate services with senior pastor and be responsible for creating the Sunday morning worship schedule to blend with the pastors messages. The music style will be mainly contemporary keeping in mind a blend of a hymn/chorus from time to time to minister to a multi-generational congregation. A salary package could also include housing if needed.
