Job Description:

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Enhance the Sunday morning worship experience by leading the congregation in a Spirit-led set of music that brings people into the presence of God and exalts Jesus Christ.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
In collaboration with the pastor and volunteers, plan and coordinate an overall worship experience for Sunday mornings as well as seasonal and special occasion worship services.
Inspire the congregation to participate in a variety of songs and hymns that glorify God.
Provide vocal and instrumental leadership to the congregation during worship services.
Prepare and_noemailpile the media used in Sunday morning worship and other services (slides, order of worship, etc.).

Reports to: Senior Pastor

Pay: $10,000 (Open to discussion based on experience)

Schedule:
Weekend availability

Warren, IN 46792: Reliably_noemailmute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Work Location: In person

Qualifications:

A passion to serve Christ and others in and through ministry
Talented vocal and instrumental musician
Experience in leading worship vocally and instrumentally
The ability to connect to and relate with a diverse group of individuals
An understanding and willingness to develop relationships with those in and outside the First Baptist Church
An attitude of humility, collaboration, and coachability
The ability to take initiative, be creative, and manage one's time/schedule in a healthy way
Availability on Sunday mornings, plus periodic mid-week rehearsals.
