Worship/Media Pastor
Job Description: Primary: Full time Pastor of worship and media ministries. Secondary: Depending of gifting of candidate, associate responsibilities could be a part. Such as working with college group (college and career), family life and small groups. This involves working with FREEDOM SOUTH in Saint Augustine as well.
Position Overview:
The Worship/Media Pastor is a spiritual and_noemailanizational leader who oversees the worship and media ministries and all creative elements of Freedom Christian Fellowship. The Worship/Media Pastor will coordinate closely with the Senior Pastor, especially as related to planning and execution of weekend services. The other roles are secondary to the worship/media role and may include work with other team members. The other part of the portfolio will be based on the churches current needs and the applicants strengths in that area. Such as: The college ministry will focus on developing relationships and occasional events for youth from 18-29 years old. The family life ministries include developing smaller and larger activities/groups to connect Freedom families with each other and the church. The small group aspect will be helping to coordinate the development of holistic relational_noemailmunity in the relationships within the church.
Core Responsibilities:
Leading ALL adult_noemailmunity worship experiences (weekend and other) in such a way that attendees have an opportunity for an authentic encounter with God's presence.
Oversight of all pre and post creative elements such as music, media, video, drama, lighting, sound, stage design, graphic design, theme development for sermons/series, signage (digital and print), all digital sites (website, FB, etc.), marketing strategy, etc. on both campuses.
Recruiting, training, and leading the necessary teams of volunteers to execute all responsibilities under the Worship/Media Department.
Direct all weekly worship department related activities and rehearsals.
Work closely with the children and student ministry pastors to develop their worship programming experiences on both campuses.
Develop and direct ministries/events that connect younger individuals, ages 18-29, to the Freedom family.
Develop and direct the ongoing Connect Groups/small group ministries of Freedom. The objective is to develop relational_noemailmunity in the church by connecting each attender to a Connect Group and Serve Team.
Coordinating connecting individuals/families to each other and the church, creating a loving atmosphere and events to build relational_noemailmunity.

Leadership skills with proven ability to build teams and inspire people to follow you. Developing others musical/media ministry giftings.
Capable vocals and ability to play and lead worship with keyboards and/or guitar.
Technological_noemailpetence with the respective core responsibilities related to creative elements, sound, lighting, and media production and promotion.
As a part of the pastoral staff, you will be responsible for...
Participating in the general pastoral care of the congregation, as needed. Including performing, participating, or supporting weddings, funerals, pre and post marriage counseling, water baptisms, hospital visitations, etc. Pastoral care responsibilities do not always happen at convenient times. Efforts will be made to minimize inconvenience to your schedule or personal time, but you should be prepared for this eventuality and maintain a cooperative spirit and attitude.
Teaching, leading meetings and classes periodically.
Currently holding or eligible and willing to pursue credentials with the Assemblies of God.
This is a minimum of a 36-month_noemailmitment, with the goal of being a long-term tenure to build FREEDOM to impact this region.
Ministry is not static. It is ever changing. Today it's changing faster than ever before. As a result, all our pastoral staff positions, including this Pastoral position, must be open to change and shifting of responsibilities as growth and ministry develop, be willing to take on expanded or modified roles as circumstances require, and recognize that ministry tends to_noemaile is seasonal flux that require our being flexible relative to work load, hours, and shared responsibility.
