Worship/Music Lead Job - First Congregational Church, Middletown , New York

Currently FCC Middletown has a pianist_noemailanist and a small choir which would be on hand for the new worship lead to oversee and incorporate as needed as part of the new vision. Balancing the need to attract the new members of the_noemailmunity with maintaining a place of worship for older members is a challenge, but the church is focused towards the future and the freedom to create a new worship culture will be given to the right person. This is a church turnaround situation that requires someone who can bridge generations, understand various music styles, and be able to build something rather than maintain the status quo. Typical Sundays attract about 30-50 people, some new attendees are_noemailing, new children are here and we expect to grow in 2017 especially with the worship team in place. The church is about to upgrade to Apple Macs, and setup audio video recording capabilities for the new website www.fccmiddletown_noemail

The role would suit someone who is already working and can provide the majority of their i_noemaile through that avenue. The church should be seen as a mission field in need of service, attention, and spirit fulled energy. Expected hours per week is 10-15.
