Job Description:
Worship Pastor Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the planning and execution of both modern worship services by recruiting, auditioning, discipling, rehearsing, producing, and leading the worship team, tech team, and livestream team as they work to achieve the mission and vision of Crossway Church.
This position would assist and provide consultation with staff and ministry area leaders to provide a meaningful music experience as a part of their regular programming and special events.
Weekly Schedule:
4 full weekdays are required (schedule TBD). Thursday evening worship/tech team rehearsals (5-8pm) are required. Sunday mornings (745am - 1200pm) are required.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop Sunday Service worship that supports the direction of the Preaching Team.
Coordinate, schedule, and lead midweek rehearsals with the band.
Work with tech team to maintain music, production and livestream technology and keep it in a steady reliable state.
Provide care, training, development, and direction to worship and tech team members.
Maintain a continuous learning mindset by developing personal pastoral, theological, musical, and vocal precision.
Coordinate events and activities for worship and tech team, including all huddles, Sunday services, staff meetings, prayer meetings, special events, etc.

Interpersonal Skills & Communication - This individual must be energized by meeting, engaging, and interacting with others, have clarity of speech and proper use of grammar,_noemailmunicate across different layers of the_noemailanization, and be able to make effective presentations to diverse groups. When working with volunteers, must lead by example and be willing to hold them accountable with healthy conflict resolution (Matthew 18) for music preparation as well as spiritual preparation.
Process Oriented & Organizational Skills – This position requires a person:

Musicality - Musical and vocal proficiency are needed in order to learn, lead, and produce a set of songs. Theological precision is required to test song lyrics and create Sunday liturgy.
Leader Development -This pastor needs the ability to provide musical and spiritual feedback to the volunteer teams as well as to provide support and encouragement to them.
Collaborative Leadership - Collaboration across the_noemailanization with various ministry partners is essential. This would include the ability to lead in concert with other leaders, to integrate multiple perspectives and synthesize them into a cohesive plan, to lead across teams, and to coach volunteers and production team members.
Digital Systems - Understanding of and experience with the operation of current modern worship technology and the ability to construct a full band mix (both live and for online stream).
