POSITION SUMMARY
The Young Adults Minister will implement a_noemailprehensive program of Christian development for young adults ranging from college, career, single to married adults in the_noemailmunity. It is essential that this person be able to connect with young adults on a social and spiritual level, with the intent of equipping them to grow in their relationship with Christ. The Young Adults Minister is a representative of the church and will conduct himself or herself in a professional and Christ-like manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Programming
1. Develop and oversee weekly and monthly programs (Examples: small groups, Sunday School, large group gatherings, social activities, etc.)
2. Develop and oversee Mission and Service opportunities
Leadership
1. Recruit and train leaders
2. Consistent contact with teachers and volunteers within Young Adult Programming
3. Build relationships with Young Adults
4. Outreach and recruit young adults not within current programs
Administrative Objectives
1. Track and record attendance of all Young Adult programs
2. Consistently evaluate current programs and develop new ideas to reach and help with spiritual growth among Young Adults
3. Develop and manage the annual Young Adults budget
4. Work with the Communications Department to promote programming and visibility to overall church and_noemailmunity
5. Keep social media updates current and representative of Church's overall mission and vision
Qualifications:
-Education: college and seminary degree -preferred
-Experience: working in ministry or non-profit organizations, as well as working with people-preferred
-Technical skills: exceptional people skills, as well as good organizational and time management skills, computer and technology skills
