Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
Must embrace Christian discipline and United Methodist doctrine and theology
A bachelors degree in a related field is preferred. Preference will be given to those achieving a masters degree in a related field. A Professional Certification in Youth Ministry is desired.
Experience at other United Methodist Churches is desired.

Have vision and a demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, manage, and implement ministry within the parameters of the United Methodist Church
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, conflict management skills, and computer/technology skills
Possess a proven ability to work effectively with youth, their families, diverse individuals, and teams of volunteers
Terms of Employment:
Position requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends; Number of hours each week will depend on amount needed to fulfill responsibilities but will not exceed 40 hours per week. Sundays are required, other days will be agreed upon with the pastor and SPRC
Position is full time with a salary income, commensurate with experience (33K-39K annual)
Position reports to the pastor for day-to-day operations, and to the SPRC for goals, evaluations, and concerns related to the church and/or job
Participate in criminal background check, drug test, and complete Safe Sanctuary Training
