* Possess strong abilities and experience in equipping others and empowering teams
* Wisely, biblically, compassionately and confidentially deal with sensitive matters
* Proficient in oral and written communication as well as technology
* Effective administrator/coordinator/financial steward
So that you can...
Responsibilities and Expectations:
1. Establish vibrant high school and middle school ministries that are done with excellence
2. Grow young people in their faith through relationships, mentorship, teaching and discipleship
3. Develop and communicate vision and plans for resources, curriculum, and budget
4. Develop engaging lessons/activities, create and distribute weekly lesson plans as needed
5. Recruit and equip parents/volunteers for Sunday morning, mid-week, and ministry events
6. Schedule Sunday morning and mid-week helpers and backups; ensure completion of
background checks for volunteers
7. For middle school youth, plan and lead weekly Sunday morning lessons as well as organize at
least one event per month
8. For high school youth, plan weekly mid-week "youth group" meetings, as well as organize at
least one event per month
9. Participate with the youth in one mission trip per year
10. Active engagement/attendance at CCOH and church events
11. Connect relationally with parents, children, ministry staff, and members of the congregation
12. Engage with local schools and community to reach out to local youth
13. Encourage and lead opportunities for young people to serve within the church
14. Effectively communicate with church leadership and staff concerning schedules, administrative
and ministry needs, as well as attend scheduled staff meetings
15. Work in a positive, accountable relationship with church leadership
