Job Description:
Victory Church is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor. We are a non-denominational independent Pentecostal church of 200+ people. Come and join our staff and church! We are looking for a person with vision and leadership skills to grow our youth in Christ.
Duties for Youth Pastor:
1) Lead entire youth program weekly in teachings, worship, and events.
a) Preach/teach during weekly youth services which are 10am Sunday School and 7pm Wednesday night, youth worship practice on Wednesday nights is at 6pm and Youth hangout is from 6:30pm-7pm. Music skills are preferable but leadership skills that will help the youth develop will also be acceptable.
b) Develop a strong biblical foundation in the youth and help them develop their skills to become active participants in the church body.
c) Plan and lead various youth activities with youth and parents involved in helping in the variety of events. We ask that two events per month are held.
2) Assist the Lead Pastor in overall growth and care of the church focused on the youth.
a) Ideal candidate will be able to work within a team concept with staff, parents, youth, and the church body.
3) Able to work with modern technology.
4) Other duties as needed.
