POSITION EXPECTATIONS
Give leadership to all ministry to junior and senior high students.
Create open partnership with the students' families.
Help pastor all individuals who call M1 their church.
Support entire church vision and departments with all gifts and skills.
Be a Recruiter: Administration abilities to recruit, retain, and inspire leaders and volunteers.
Be Visionary: Expected to oversee and expand all ministries ages 6th grade to High School. The Youth Pastor will assist in developing a vision for youth events, planning, and implementing those events.
Be Evangelistic: Heart for seeing lost students_noemailing to know Christ.
Competency: Skilled in public_noemailmunication,_noemailfortable in digital_noemailmunication. Adept in navigating youth culture while still earning respect of sponsors/adults/parents.
All M1 Pastors are expected to lead or participate in at least one Life Group (small group).
Expected work week is 45-50 hours. We work hard. We show up on time. Our work day starts at 8:30 am Mon-Thu, 7:00 am on Sunday. The potential return far outweighs the amount of work before us.
COMPENSATION
Your salary will be_noemailpetitive. We review salaries every year.
