Long’s Chapel Christian Church is looking for both an experienced Music Leader-Director and Pianist/Organist for Sunday morning service; having a love for Jesus Christ and using your talent to lead and accompany the choir and congregation in its music ministry. This is currently a combined position. Some of the responsibilities include: Read music in various arrangements Plans/plays music for the traditional worship service and all special services (seasonal, revivals, funerals) including hymns and special selections Leads choir in musical presentations Selects/Plays, teaches and practices musical selections with the choir for weekly church services and special occasions Organizes and maintains music files Must be available for weekly choir practice and church services. (Traditional Service is at 11:00 am on Sunday, and one weekly choir practice/rehearsal) Salary negotiable
