We seek an innovative, energetic, relational individual to lead our Worship Ministry. The ideal person will have a passion for worship, and bring fresh ideas on leading others into meaningful worship experiences. The person will also have the ability to lead experienced musicians as well as identity/develop/nurture other musicians. It is currently a part-time position (10 hours per week), which we hope will develop into a full-time position in the future. Grace is a non-denominational church of 250 to 300 people with a diverse, intergenerational mix. We seek to provide an atmosphere where people are able to encounter God and free to respond to His touch. Key Responsibilities: Partner with Senior Pastor to plan the elements for Sunday morning worship service Select & arrange music Lead weekly rehearsals Lead Sunday morning worship service with team of volunteer musicians & vocalists Candidate should: Have a maturing relationship with Christ Be committed to Servant Leadership Have experience in leading contemporary worship Be able to engage worshippers through exhortation and song Have vocal and instrumental gifts Be able to chart/arrange music We also ask that everyone in a leadership position become a Covenant Missionary at Grace, which means that you agree to share a common commitment to personal spiritual formation and to our mission, vision, and core values.
