Role and Responsibilities The Worship Leader is responsible for leading worship during church services and coordinating all music related aspects of church gatherings as determined by the pastor: Support the vision of the pastor and Crossroads Church of Cleburne Sunday morning services a.Lead worship during the service b.Coordinate flow of service with the pastor and service coordinator c.Provide special music on occasion in relation to message and/or series Be available for special services such as; Christmas Eve Service, Easter Service, Good Friday Service, etc... Lead weekly practice sessions of the worship team a.Provide guidance and instruction to volunteers on the worship team b.Provide opportunities for volunteers to grow in leading worship as appropriate c.Build a fellowship and community within the worship team Coordinate and/or communicate music/songs to entire worship team, media included, prior to Sunday mornings a.Coordinate order and song changes as soon as possible to media Worship leader will have three non-consecutive Sundays off per year Additional duties: Be available for special gatherings in support of Crossroads ministries/functions (i.e. funerals, weddings, nursing home, etc.) PLEASE NOTE: Pianist/Keyboardist a plus!
