JOB TITLE: Organist/Keyboardist/Pianist DEPARTMENT: Music Ministry REPORT TO: Minister Of Music JOB FUNCTIONS: The organist is responsible for serving as organist in the services of the church. a. Play contemporary music and hymns in various chords. b. Accompany choir rehearsal for adult and youth choirs as directed by Minister of Music. c. Play for all services of the church, including special services as directed by the Minister of Music. d. Play for weddings and funerals, when requested. The applicant must be able to work in a team setting and take directions. The applicant must also recognize that he/she is a leader in the church, placed before the congregation as a model of a Christian Life
