Sydenstricker United Methodist Church in Springfield, Virginia is seeking a part-time Director of Music Ministries. This person is responsible for the direction, implementation, scheduling and enhancement of the Music Ministries at Sydenstricker United Methodist Church. All musicians providing music for worship services (i.e., organists, accompanists, vocalists, instrumentalists and group leaders) work under the direction of the Director of Music Ministries. This staff position is responsible for all musical performance groups within the church to ensure they receive adequate direction, leadership, instruction, practice and performance to enhance the skills of the participants across the broad spectrum of ages and experience levels.
