YOUTH DIRECTOR/PASTOR. American Baptist congregation in Philadelphia PA region has immediate opening for a man called to reach & disciple youth. SBC is a loving assembly of a variety of races, backgrounds, and nationalities. The position includes direct ministry to students, children, families, community outreach and oversight of our Christian Education. SBC has a year-round youth activity-retreat-mission-trip program, AWANA ministry, and Sunday School. Opportunities to grow include preaching, working with church leadership, general pastoral ministries, mentoring intern(s), and tracking toward ordination. This is a full-time salaried position in the $40K range. The applicant must be born-again, biblical, deeply love God's people, educated, and teachable.
