For those interested, please send: A cover letter giving a brief description of yourself, your personal testimony and your philosophy regarding worship and youth ministry (pdf) A resume explaining your education and experience (pdf) Video links that display you teaching and leading worship Please send to office@gracefellowship.org Job Description: Personal Characteristics and Requirements Actively engaged in regular personal Bible study and prayer Life characteristic of elders/deacons described in 1Tim 3:2-13 In agreement with Grace's Doctrinal Statement (see Ministry Opportunity Profile below) Currently active in leading worship and youth ministry Required Skills Proficiency in teaching the Bible with a strong working knowledge of the essential doctrines of the faith (consistent with Grace's doctrinal statement) Proficiency in singing, playing guitar and/or piano Proficiency in leading teams (worship team and youth staff) with a spirit of collaboration Good communication skills working with a diverse group of people Able to provide video links demonstrating worship leading and teaching skills Job Description: Youth Ministry Provide leadership, vision, oversight of Junior High and High School ministry Work directly with youth staff providing counsel, discipleship and training Develop a philosophy of ministry that reflects a balance between outreach and discipleship Work directly with students both believers and unbelievers to present a role model of Christian faith, teach the Bible, personally invest in student's lives Worship Leader Lead worship on Sunday mornings reflective of a blended style of worship Work directly with Lead Pastor to develop the Sunday Morning worship service Facilitate leadership and development of the worship team Oversee sound, lighting and media related to Sunday Morning worship Working relationships: Report directly to (1) Lead Pastor and (2) the Elder Board Access to office manager for assistance in administrative tasks Work with Family Pastor for resource and collaboration of ministries Please visit our website for the full job description and ministry profile: http://graceofamador.org/worship-and-youth-leader/
