Peace Lutheran Preschool has an immediate opening for an experienced Preschool Director with strong organizational skills, a cooperative management style and excellent team building skills. Our ELEA-accredited preschool is open from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. year-round. We currently have ~60 students with varying schedules ranging in age from 2 years to 5 years.

A successful candidate will have classroom experience, strong communications skills, and an ability to effectively lead our talented teaching staff. S/He will work in partnership with Peace Lutheran Church to carry out the common mission of church and school to share Christ's love and grow disciples for Jesus. S/He will approach the Director's position as an integral part of Peace Lutheran Church's ministry and its community life.

The candidate will be empathetic to the needs of both staff and families and be able to provide the needed support structure. Most importantly, s/he will ensure a safe, nurturing, supportive environment where children can learn, grow and succeed.

Requirements: Minimum bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Minimum three years' administrative experience in the field of ECE/CD. 3-5 years of management experience, including recruiting, training and leading an exceptional teaching staff. Well-versed in licensing regulation. Familiarity with ELEA or NAEYC accreditation standards. Ability to understand and manage center financials and budget. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. MS Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Position is full-time salaried. Pay determined by qualifications and experience.
